I answer that question right up front; I met a lot of people who in a very short time. So the answer is yes, you can make money on the Internet even when just starting out. I’m not saying that most people who will make money within their first few months, but there are some.

The biggest reasons most beginners fail to make money on the Internet in their first year are because of jumping from one program to another. The second biggest problem is they are not willing to spend a small amount of money needed to get their going, or they spend the money in the wrong place. I do not want to offend anyone, but the next reason that most beginners fail to make money the first year is they are lazy. Like I said I do not want to offend you, but most people are lazy, including me.

What does it take to begin?
If you are just starting out do not fall into the trap that so many others do. Before you start, use a search engine and search for legitimate home-based businesses or search Internet marketing forums. The only cost of this search is your time, and you will get great ideas about what interests you.

You must decide if you want to focus on a specific niche that fits your personality or joins the pack and follows each new get quick rich program. It may look good, but remember the biggest mistake you can make is to jump from one thing to another.

Are You Ready To Spend Some Money?
Ok, this is where we start spending a little money. You can think the best place to spend your money is on programs that already have a website built for you, because you do not know how to build a website. Do not do that! You want to find something that will teach you how to build a website, there are many to choose from. Some are better than others, when you see something like that, instead of buying, go to a forum and ask whether people would buy the product, and if they are satisfied.

Now that you are focused and have all the information you need to start is the time to stop being lazy, because you will need to direct a flood of targeted traffic to your website. I do mean a flood. It does not mean 50 visitors a day. To start off you need at least 200 to 300 visitors per day. To find that amount of traffic means you will need to work every day.

If you can follow the instructions in this article, you will make money on the Internet within a year. If you learn quickly you can become one of the lucky money earners and earn in as little as 3 months. Stay away from get quick rich programs and stay focused on your chosen path. Work hard, never give up and seek help when you need it. You Can Do It!
